What We Hear
Q: What is Logistics?

The most accurate description of our services is taken directly from the Council of Logistics Management (CLM):
"Logistics is that part of the supply chain process that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward
and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of
consumption in order to meet customers' requirements."
Q: Does InterChez act as a "load feeder" entity to provide business to their asset-based business?
No. We are a non-asset based third party logistics provider. We represent the interests of our customers, not owned assets.
Q: How are fees structured for the various services provided by InterChez?
Our consulting fees are based upon the size and scope of project, plus industry standard ancillary expenses. Fee payment is based upon the completion of specific project milestones thereby eliminating "open end" consulting arrangements.
Transportation Management services are provided with a wide range of available fee structures including transaction based, weekly management, contract rates, and cost plus.
Most importantly, our fees are designed to meet the needs of unique customer demands and offer a very affordable solution to your logistic challenges.
Q: If InterChez manages my transportation activity do I lose control of the process?
No. We can perform as many logistics processes as you like, but InterChez works for you, on your behalf. We do not force solutions or contracts on customers, we measure and report our performance to you, and we know we need to prove our value every day.
